3D Avatar Creation with Daz Studio

    If you are looking for an easy and affordable way to create a high-quality 3D avatar, Daz Studio might be the ideal option for you.     The first step in creating a 3D avatar in Daz Studio is to download and install the software. Once installed, you can either choose an existing 3D character model from Daz Studio's content library or create your own custom model.     When selecting a 3D character model, you can choose from a variety of customization options, such as hair, clothing, textures, and facial expressions. Below is an example of an avatar I created during a workshop about creating avatars. The 3d custom client was Loriane Del Puppo. The avatar was entirely created in Daz Studio.

    The deadline for this avatar was 3 days, so I had to find a quick solution. I could have used Face Transfer with a photo of her, but as I felt that the character P3D Imogen was pretty close to her appearance, I chose to create her entirely with the morphs available. I also used Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs to adjust some features of her face and to approximate even more to her appearance. Those morphs are essential to make custom characters. I made a set o Japanese and Chinese girls using just them. For the scenario I used i13 Executive Office Environment.

For hair very similar to hers I chose Hair and Glasses for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s) by Out of Touch who has very realistic hairs.

The clothes were, Blouse - dForce Office Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s), Pants and shoes -  Modern Lace Casual Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s), and Jacket - Boot Look Outfit for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s). The clothes I purchased in promotions, so you can buy items at $1,99 if you wait for sales. 

    And finally, in the last day I did a short animation. The lip sync was done in Daz Studio 4.15 32bits. It's the only version which has the free Lip Sync plugin.

    In summary, Daz Studio is an excellent option for creating high-quality 3D avatars, especially for those who do not have advanced technical knowledge in 3D modeling. With its intuitive interface and feature-rich content library, Daz Studio allows anyone to create an impressive and personalized 3D avatar.

    I did an upgrade to my product Hands for Genesis 3 & 8 Female to work with Genesis 9.

    Anyone who purchased this set has now a free update to Genesis 9 version. Just search the product in your Daz Install Manager or Daz Central and download it.

    On the Daz Store page doesn't appear compatible with Genesis 9 yet, but it comes with the Genesis 9 version if you purchase it(and also it's compatible with Genesis 8.1). If you already have purchased it, check out your library.

    You don't need to buy another set for Genesis 9.

    I made free 12 Iray materials for the old Glamour Hair for Victoria 4 which you can use on your Genesis 8 Female and Genesis 8.1 Female characters.

One animated stand pose and one float pose. You can also add an eyes blink which comes separated.
